If you have ever been to an Electorinics shop, then you have probably seen this small semiconductor device.  But due to lack of information, you probably would not have even recognized it.By the way, for your information, let me tell you that these diodes are very simplest two-terminal unilateral semiconductor device.These diode are 'one way' sign of electrical circuits.In this, current is allowed to flow in only one direction.Each diode has a positive end, called an anode, and also a negative end called a cathode.

 As you all know that there are many types of diodes, so the symbols of all diodes are also different.And these symbols are used to make a circuit diagram where it is shown that it is a diode and what its value is.. And in the photo above, you can see that the diode is cylindrical and has a white strip on one side, which means that it is the terminal or the terminal cathode on this side.

Zener diode

Zener diode is like a normal diode.  But not everyone knows that Zener Diode Kya Hai.We tell you that the live diode allows the current to go to one side like a normal diode, but when the voltage exceeds the Breakdown Voltage, it also allows the current to go in the reverse direction. The Ginger diode was invented in 1934 by Clarence Zener.And this was done to avoid immediate voltage pulses.And this diode acts as a voltage regulator.

Light Emitting Diode (LED)

It works to convert diode electric energy into light energy. Its invention happened in 1968.This diode works to connect again with the help of light in frontward bos to make energy to electrons and holes under electroluminescence method. This saves a lot of power in which people prefer to use it in homes.

Constant Current Diodes

Constant Current Diode is known by many names, among which Current Regulating Diode, Current Limiting Diode, Diode Connected Transistor is the main one.  The function of this diode is to regulate the voltage at a certain current.

tunnel diode 

The tunnel diode is also called Esaki Diode because it was invented in 1927 by the Japanese Nobel Prize winner Leo Esaki.  This diode is used to switch very fast.  Whenever a work has to be done in nano seconds, the tunnel diode is used.

Laser diode

Laser diode injection is also popularly known as laser diode. This diode acts like a Light Emitting Diode but instead of the light used in it, it creates a laser beam. Laser diodes are used these days for barcode readers, laser pointers and fibers.  Apart from optic, many other functions are also done.
